How can I make a perfect cup of coffee with a French press?

I've always been fascinated with the French press, because I've heard makes the best cup of coffee. How do I ...? I hope some expert in French press can give me the truth about a great cup of coffee.

Hello, I was very happy to see this issue. I use a stove top esspresso and a plunger (French press - we call coffee plunger AU) and the my favorite coffee plunger is always warm the pot with boiling water first, of the boiler. while the plunger and press are warming, the water heater is boiling and is important because you do not want to burn the coffee. Thus, it waited a couple of minutes for all heating, can pull water heating. I Use a grocery store (well rounded) for dessert coffee per cup, because I like strong and I would like to see the cream on top of the pot. Measure your coffee in the pot and pour on water. Take your dessert stir the coffee and water well. Then let the coffee infuse for 3-4 minutes. Take the plunger and Review the bottom to make sure it is screwed in Nice and tight and put it in the pot and make sure it is straight. Press down slowly and evenly ensuring not to force it. If you force, you may end up with hot coffee. When the piston is at the lowest point (sitting ontop of the coffee grounds), you must achieve a beautiful cream rising to the surface. If you like black coffee, and coffee is good and strong, why not heat the milk a little too much? I use a good inch or more of milk and heat in the microwave before you pour the coffee.
